Burwood East Special Developmental is implementing a whole-school numeracy program to fill the gaps in Special Education numeracy and our TIP funding has helped purchase new resources.

The program requires each class to have a toolbox of numeracy resources that will be stored in the one spot, making it easier to access.

Through the implementation of a whole-school numeracy program, students will receive rich and engaging learning opportunities to help improve their learning outcomes in numeracy. Teachers will be given clear instructions on how to implement numeracy lessons as well as having whole-school numeracy assessments that will provide invaluable data and help us form relevant and precise learning outcomes for students.

As a bank, numbers are important to us so we were thrilled to be able to provide funding to assist the students at Burwood East.
