Nganboo Borron School

Many mainstream phonics programs assume a level of verbal ability, attention, and cognitive readiness that some students may not yet have developed. As a result, these students are often left behind during a critical window for language and literacy development.

To address this gap, Nganboo Borron School will create a sensory-based phonics program specifically designed for learners with disabilities. This program will incorporate tactile toys, visual supports, songs, and interactive materials that make learning fun and accessible.

By combining movement, music, and hands-on materials, the project will support diverse learning styles and provide repeated exposure to essential early literacy concepts in a way that is both developmentally appropriate and motivating. By fostering engagement and success at this early stage, Nganboo Borron School can give its students the strongest possible start on the path to lifelong literacy and independence.
