Jackson Special School and Keilor Downs College have come together to create a sustainable farm. Entirely built by students, the farm houses chickens, guinea pigs and birds. This project will involve upcycling a 1970's bus as a flexible learning space with a bunny house attached to the side.
Students will design and renovate the bus inside and out, with seating, storage and tables, plus a mural on the ourside. The bunnies will have an adventure playgroud of a house at one end of the bus as well as an enclosure under the bus. Students will use the space for craft activities as well as work.
This bus will also be an additional space for students to enjoy shared meals year-round. Jackson Special School and Keilor Downs College will work together each week to keep the garden running.
