Thomastown Meadows Primary School

As an established school with older infrastructure, Thomastown Meadows Primary School’s classrooms were not originally designed to meet the varied and complex needs of its increasingly diverse student population. Many spaces currently lack the sensory tools and flexible resources required to support all learners effectively.

The school will develop and distribute a Wellness Box for each classroom and shared learning space across the school. Each box will contain evidence-based resources selected to meet a range of individual needs.

These materials will be available to all students as needed and will be introduced through staff training to ensure appropriate and supportive use. The Wellness Boxes will serve as a practical and sustainable intervention, enabling teachers to respond flexibly to individual needs and ensuring that all students can thrive within their learning environment.
